15 Gallons 3 Dog Blonde This is a single malt brew using only Canada Malting 2-row. I want to brew a simple beer to see what it will taste like with no crystal, biscuit or any adjuncts in it. I read on the net that a lot of homebrewers are having great success with this style. I am having issues with quality lately and I bought some new yeast ( Nottingham ). If something is not right, this style of beer will certainly show it because there really is nothing to hide. I am fermenting this at around 14C - 15C. Quite cool for an ale yeast, but within range of the Nottingham yeast according to Danstar. If and when I check the FG after a week or so and it is quite high, I can easily raise the temp. 27.50 lbs. of Canada Malting 2-row 50 grams EKG pellet hops ( 60 min. ) 40 grams Nottingham ( wort was 64F ) O.G. - 1.052 F.G. - 1.010 % - 5.2 SRM - 3.6 BU - 14.4 I didn't use any Gelatin with this brew.
