House Dust IPA - Friday, May 24, 2024

I have a window of 7 days to keg this and get the Conical ready for my Helles. As soon as the 2nd House Dust is in the fermenter, open the pool. You can work on it for 2 weeks to get it up and going. I assume a lot of vacuuming. I broke my syringe I use for small amounts of lactic acid. I bought a package of 20 from Amazon.   Ingredients 11 lbs. Rahr 8 ozs. Munich I ( for some reason I used 1 lb. ) 30 grams Duke 25 @ FW 56.70 grams Dule25 @ 10 min. 56.70 grams Duke25 @ 0 min. 70 grams Duke25 dry hop. Picking a day that it rains because I am making this in the basement. Take your pick, it rains all the time. Ingredients 11 lbs. Rahr 8 ozs. Munich I US-05 ( using around 40 grams since it is way past it's BB ) 30 grams Cascade Duke 25 @ FW ( 7.1%AA ) - ( added to the side of mash tube ) 56.70 grams Cascade Duke25 @ 10 min. ( 7.1% AA  ) 56.70 grams Cascade Duke25 @ 0 min. ( 7.1% AA ) 70 grams Cascade Duke25 dry hop for 3 days ( 7.1% AA ) Added to my fermenter 3 days before kegging. I just tossed them in. Check Robobrew temp against your dependable Thermopen to see if they are close. Calibrate if you have to. Usually only 1 F difference lately. It was fine this morning.
