Maggie Helles 15 Gallons I am finally getting around to brewing styles of beer that I have been reading about for 30 freaking years, but was always too chicken to brew. This will be my third lager this year. My first one was okay, but I got sulphur from pitching too high ( 60 F ). My second was pitched @ 46 F and it turned out okay. This one can't hide behind a big malt bill like my Maggie Marzen. Just pitch the big starter of yeast @ 44 F - 46 F and you will be fine. ( I pitched @ 46 F ) 20 lbs.
