Brew Day - October 16, 2008

My Dry Stout is in the fermenters. Just finished cleaning my mash-tun and boiler. Added my water for tomorrow's brew, an English IPA.

3 Dog English IPA

10 Gallons

O.G. - 1.050
F.G. - 1.012
IBU - 49.6
SRM - 7.9
% - 5

Mash in @ 150F for 60 minutes.

23 lbs. Canada Malt
1 lb. crystal
1 lb. flaked barley
8 ozs. biscuit
160 grams East Kent Goldings
Nottingham yeast

This is my first English IPA.
I didn't get the efficiency on this beer I wanted.
O.G. was only 1.042
% - 3.7.
Nice tasting brew anyway.
