House Dust IPA - Tuesday, February 1st, 2022

Using up my Chinook, Citra and US-05. May as well, I bought them, so go ahead and use them up. I found German Northern Brewer hops too. I have tons of hops. Using them all. Lagers until I can't ferment ales on the bench and then all West Coast beers.

                                                         BREW DAY NOTES

An uneventful brew day. Besides substituting 2 quarts of RO water for well water in the sparge ( out of RO ) that was it. Wort tasted fine.

                                                              FERMENTATION NOTES

US-05 pitched @ 3 PM on brew day.

Day 1 - Nuttin

Day 2 - Woke up to a small krausen. 64F, too cool, turned up the wall heater.

Day 6 - Same. 66 F.

Day 7 - Slowing down, keg when ready.

                                       KEGGED ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 14

Not a big hop aroma in this IPA. I assume 113 g of Citra/Chinook will do the trick. Added that in the keg on Feb. 16.
