Hooked up ny stout faucent for the first time in 5 years. Has it been that long? This is going to be a regular beer in my beer menu book for now on.The sparge water had a rusty and vegetable like smell to it. I should of dumped it and used well water. The resulting beer was undrinkable and I dumped it also. Two bad beers in a row. 30 hours of labour down the drain. That is not good. I changed how I mash and my water is now 70/30 RO/WELL or CITY for all of my beers in the near future. Hope they are at least drinkable.
