I haven't brewed an ESB in awhile now. Hope the well water is going to work out and not make it taste funny. Raining all weekend, so there will be 2 brew sessions. No homebrew at the moment.

The wort was very cloying. Not sure if it is all that crystal malt, or the well water. Maybe both. It's fermenting away anyway now. Whatever it turns out like, I will be brewing Kolsch/Helles beers for now on. I seem to get better beer brewing those styles and I like them way better. Going like crazy the next morning but I don't think this will be a good beer. Too much crystal malt I think. It will be keg conditioned in my bedroom and aged for as long as I don't need the kegs. Maybe in time it will come around, but I kind of doubt it. This is still fermenting on day 11 and showing no signs of slowing down. Just have to wait I guess.
