The first runnings were clear going into the kettle. However, the second runnings were very hazy. I couldn't figure out why. It bothered me until after I cooled it as fast as I could. The final wort was clear, or as clear as it always has been. I should of added a gallon of water since I was short in the kettle. This is why my OG was so high. I had a bit of trouble with the lid on the Conical as I didn't see any activity in the blow off jar. I have to be careful with the lid seal as it costs $20 - $30.
